On May 5, 2004, a hearing was held, in D.C., by the
U.S. Helsinki Commission. It was inquiring into the murder in 1989, of human
rights lawyer, Patrick Finucane. His widow, Geraldine Finucane, was one of the
witnesses at the proceeding.
